7 Things I Learned About My Camera Today
1. I'm really glad there are so many beginner level tutorials on YouTube!
2. I can't see through the viewfinder. Not one of the three prescriptions on my glasses clarifies anything. It's the LCD screen or nothing.
3. I chose a recommended function to learn outside of the Auto function that's pretty basic: changing the f-stop. Not there yet. Can't see the effect, nor understand 12 of the 14 information icons on the screen, nor what I bumped to change everything, nor how to bump it back.
4. I know why I've left it on Auto setting.
5. So I downloaded the instruction manual. I'm on page 21 of 220 pages, most
of which were the table of contents and how to charge the battery, which is one of the few things I
do know how to do.
6. The learning curve is looking STEEP! Nothing is intuitive.
7. Looking for an actual picture and taking it is F-f-f-fun!
