SEPTEMBER 11 F-F-F-FUN

1 Thing I Learned About My Camera Today

1.   Yesterday when I was fooling around in the Program mode, I found a way to intensify various colors to make them pop in a photo; called My Colors.  I tried the green, but didn't see much difference.  I went on to other things.  Today I took the below photo in Auto mode.  Then I switched to some Av..then Tv..then P...then M.  ALL had a distracting amount of green tone!  So much those modes were unusable.  I knew it wasn't a coincidence that I'd experimented with green in My Colors and now things were green.  But I'd turned it off, I SWEAR!  So I checked the My Colors in all those modes.  In each case, it was off.  I'd been looking at other functions yesterday, so for some reason White Balance came to my mind.  I tried resetting the White Balance in one of the modes.  It took the green away in that one, but not the others.  I ended up resetting the White Balance individually in each of the modes; problem fixed.  The WHY of it?  Not a clue!  Nor why I thought of the White Balance...unless I'm starting to mind-meld with my camera!?

These new boots are made for hiking!
