SEPTEMBER 16 F-F-F-FUN

3 Things I Learned About My Camera Today

1.  I wanted to skip the Manual Function tutorial video because I have enough on my learning plate as it is.  But the very next video was how to SHOOT THE MOON!  Since Monday is the Harvest Moon, it has been on my mind to try to get a pic.  Some reading has indicated that it's not as straightforward as one might think, and previous attempts photographic attempts in my life have certainly confirmed that.  I've looked at several websites about taking pics of the moon, and I watched the Shoot the Moon tutorial. Sure enough, Manual Function will give the best results.

2.  So I went through the Manual Function video just enough to learn how to set the f-stops, shutter speed and ISO in that function so I can try the Moon Shot.  There are recommended settings, so I'll pre-set those and try to keep it simple.

3.  At this point, I'm finding it nigh on impossible to coordinate what I'm learning in the tutorials with the photos I'm shooting daily.  Like the Moon Shot, which (hopefully) won't show up 'til Monday!!  I want you know I'm aware of it.
