2 Things I Learned About My Camera Today

 

1.  I finished the YouTube tutorial on the Scene Mode, and will put this in my "to be explored further" category, along with Program and Av (f-stop).   These are all modes that are in-between full Automatic and full Manual. 

2.  I chose to explore Recordable Shots on the Information Display list, which is how many shots  you can take.  This number can change based on number of pixels you choose and the aspect ratio...which led me down a rabbit hole of sensor size, aspect ratio, and megapixels. After today's shoot and my rabbit hole, I'm choosing to set the aspect ratio at 3:2, which is the standard 35mm size.  I know what this means generally but not exactly, and not at all clear what difference it makes.  

                            

My aspect ratio was set on 1:1 for this photo. It's uncropped and square.
