Alice's Top Ten Observations About Retirement (So Far)

 

1.  All those routine household chores still need to be done.

2.  If I choose to indulge in every eating fantasy because now that I'm retired I somehow "deserve" to, my pants are still too tight.

3. WILLY-NILLY RULES!

4.  Now instead of saying "No, sorry, I can't do that, I have to go to work",  I get to say YES! I'd love to!

5.   Watching favorite TV shows the night they're broadcast feels like an indulgence (Dancing With The Stars is the best!).

6.  "Shop 'til you drop" is now a first-hand experience.

7.  Yep, health insurance is VERY EXPENSIVE.

8.  Yep, Medicare Part A-Z, Medigap, and Medicare Prescription Plans are VERY CONFUSING.

9.  Honey has his own do-list.

10.  Believe it.  THERE'S STILL NOT ENOUGH TIME!
