September Smash

 

 

September started out with the 2-Woman Music Camp, described in the previous post.  What a great time Sally and I had in Kanab!

A couple of great hikes:  Odell Lake with Alice and Sue, with whom I practice Tai Chi (and constant companion Gypsy, of course).

Spring Valley where Sue, Gypsy and I enjoyed a view of the San Francisco Peaks.  The cattle are grazing and enjoying a drink at the quaintly named Shoot-'em Up Dick tank.  

I'm in Dancing With the Stars HEAVEN!  Season 21 started September 14.

 My favorite two stars: 

Bindi Irwin, daughter of deceased Australian reality TV star Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter).

  

17 years old and an old pro at public performance, she is so amazingly positive, confident and self-possessed, it's pure pleasure to watch her.

Alek Skarlotos, one of the Americans who foiled the terrorist attack on the Paris-bound train.



22 years old, with no experience being in the public eye, he is also amazingly confident and self-possessed and it's pure pleasure to watch him, too.

Ron's twin brother Don came to visit the last week of September.

 We had so many adventures that they deserve their own post, which will follow.
