GOODBYE, MAY
May went by impossibly fast.
We said goodbye to Karlie the first week in May.
Ron and I had a trip to Yosemite was already in place with a leave date just four days after I returned
from Tucson. Because my personal resources were pretty depleted, I seriously considered cancelling the trip. To our everlasting gratitude, we decided to go ahead and go. That blog is still pending, but here's a preview:
Home to the Slide Fire:

May is the month I transition from winter activities (swimming is done) to
summer activities: running as well as more biking and hiking. Also on the agenda are Agility classes for Gypsy, practicing Tai Chi outside on the deck in the mornings, and dusting off both piano and flute in preparation for a Music Camp with friend Sally in August.
Saturday we went to an absolutely charming play at Theatrikos, "Almost, Maine".
Theatrikos has chosen a comedic theme this year, and Ron and I are finding it our very favorite season. "Almost, Maine" is a hilarious but very tender series of vignettes about finding, maintaining, and losing love. Delightful.
