10 Things I'm Thankful For
(Various Sources, including the www and Maggie)
 (Importance Not Indicated By Order)

1.  Our families, including furred, feathered and scaled members.
2.  Our friends, who can be our daily families when we live far from our blood families.
3.  All the delicious food, which starts today and continues pretty much through January 1.
4.The delicious movie season that started last week. Catching Fire:  A+++
5.  Having the mental, physical and financial resources to enjoy retirement so thoroughly.
6.  Living in a country where most of us can open the refrigerator and find food, turn on the faucet and get water, flip the switch and have light, set the furnace or a/c at a comfortable temp, stay dry in a home that doesn't leak, use an indoor bathroom with water-based conveniences, get in a car we own and drive wherever we please, have a good foundational education and endless opportunities for further education, look out the window and see blue sky and not pollution, and go to bed at night knowing our homes won't be bombed or raided.
7.  Toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, Bath&Body Works.
8.  Dogs who sleep on their backs to increase their chances of getting a passing tummy rub.
9. Walks in the woods.  Blue sky, green ponderosas, a bit of snow still on the ground.
10.  The cumulative life experiences that help me realize how much I have to be thankful for.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
